Second of our Ride Socials, brilliant turnout again considering the weather. Some familiar faces, a couple returning again from last week and a couple of new ones, eleven of us in total venturing out in the less than hospitable conditions, brave or foolish, you decide. Nice coffee stop at Brandreth Barn, need to back there again sometime! Ride wasn’t too bad actually, rained for about 30 minutes that’s all, other than that it was just windy. Hats off to Carole J furthest she’d ever rode by quite a distance, plus she was determined that Farley Lane wasn’t going to get the better of her, stayed on the bike all the way up, gutsy effort. Thanks for coming along everyone, hope you enjoyed the ride.

Final thanks to Mark for back-marking and to Anthony for hanging back at the junctions to make sure we didn’t lose anyone, certainly made my role a lot easier fella’s, much appreciated.

Just an idea of the undulations we encountered. Great downhill to start with, even greater uphill to finish with!

I think you covered the ride very well Paul. Great to see new riders. Caroline and Joanne? Were quite nervous getting out of their car. Absolutely showed us that they are well up to it! See you all next time. Joyce and Ray
