Not sure how many more times we’re going to be able to say this again in 2015, hope its a quite few though, “Brilliant weather once more for our jaunt over to Carr Mill”. 17 of us turned out this week including our latest member Simon, as well as a guest for the day, (hope we didn’t put him off). Quite a tough one this week, bit of climbing and some rough terrain to negotiate as we made our way across the fields from Garswood up to Billinge, the views were well worth the effort though. Seventeen miles covered, two hours out in the fresh air, including a nice little rest while a puncture was sorted out. Usual tea & biscuits back at base, loads of banana’s this week as well Jim, pity you missed out!

Punctures do have their useful side, especially when it's not you!

Once again i flung my bike on the ground, but cushioned its fall with my left knee! Those aldi cycling pants are really good, only 2 little scratches and didnt go through the inner lining! Lovely day and a challenging ride up to billinge. Saw my friend walking her dog again at Carr Mill.

Spent the morning with a plumber fitting new radiators. Missed another good ride. It will be pouring down when I eventually make it onto a ride!

All looks very nice. Sorry we couldn’t make it.
