Another brilliant turnout from Three Sisters for our ride up to Haigh Hall, bowed to pressure this week, let myself get talked into putting some hills into the mix. Just as well really, everyone seemed to enjoy them or was that the rose coloured glasses I was looking through. Anyway, 21 of us this week 18 miles covered and “a sprinkling of hills” for good measure. Got as far as the Hall, well a bit further actually, continued up past the golf club and headed for Pendlebury Lane & Leyland Mill. Just to try and quench their appetite for hills we headed back into the Plantations at the main gates and climbed up to the Whelley Loop before returning to Three Sisters via Amberswood. Glorious weather once again and the company wasn’t bad either.
Twins by any chance?
Brilliant ride after two weeks of lazing in the sun, thanks Paul back on track 🙂
