Superb weekend I’m sure you’ll all agree, hope you do! Couldn’t have planned the weather any better and the hills were I’m sure, a rather pleasant surprise!
The Bay Way (Day 1)
Wouldn’t be right to start without a sermon, would it!
Glorious scenery!
The leggings have arrived! (not quite sure if it’s Christine or Roy though)
Eye’s right, sorry left! (somethings definitely caught their attention}
Looks quite picturesque! (the place that is)
Roads are certainly quiet enough!
Little bit more climbing to do yet Denis!
Almost at the top fella’s (couldn’t go much higher by the look of it)
These two don’t look fazed by the hills!
Don’t you just love it when there’s this much traffic!
The obligatory bridge shot!
Mid ride Facebook check in, or was it Strava?
The scenery is definitely the star of the show!
Need I say more!
Much needed rest stop, before Bigland Hill.
Tony seems to have made it up okay!
So has Jean and she’s still smiling, but then again she’s always smiling!
Can’t see what all the fuss is about, Christine looks quite content as well.
Not quite sure about Pete, looks a little weary!
Hang on a minute though Fran looks like he’s gasping a bit!
So does Alan!
Ray’s got the same pained expression!
There’s a theme building here, was it a competition to so see who could pull the best agonised look!
Good attempt Joyce, but I think it’s a tie between Fran & Alan!
Lightweight’s, didn’t even try!
Changed my mind, Keith’s the winner, by a country mile as well! Bring on day 2.
Made a slight detour to meet up with this fellow, looking a bit dapper there John, sorry but you can’t ride with us dressed like that, we do have standards to uphold!
Superb weekend, well organised, thanks to Jim. Loved the scenery, so nice to be able to take it all in without having to dodge the potholes. Lol.
It really was a fabulous week-end. The scenery, the weather, the bikes, and of course the company. Thank you Jim, and where next?
